So...

Out of the blue lover/ former-colleague comes forward to sue a multi-million selling artist saying that they were cut out of the process when the artist started hitting the big time.

What else is new?

So the revered Lady Gaga is not so untouchable as we all thought. Songwriter and music producer Rob Fusari launched a $30.5 m legal action , which is approximately £20m, against the pop starlet.

This can't be at the best of times for the pop provocateur as she is in a fragile state after collapsing during a show in New Zealand.

Lady gaga before she was signed

Mr. Fusari claims that he first came across Lady Gaga and signed to him when she was performing under her real name ' Stefani Germanotta'. She apprently ditched him after she started getting global recognition and effectively ruling the charts.

Now...there has been no comment from Lady Gaga's lawyers as of now so there's a lot of speculation up in the air. How I feel about this is similar to holding a double edged sword.

Recently I've come around to ole' Gagameister, whereas before I thought she was just another label manufactured girl who was picked up off the street becuase the industry could market her.

However seeing that she can actually play her instrument immediately made me think twice about her, and let's be honest. She can write a damn catchy tune, or can she?

One of Fusari's claims is that he helped write several of the songs of 'The Fame' including the chart topper Paparazzi, as the acclaimed writer has worked with the likes of Destiny's Child and Will Smith.

Now while I want to belive that Lady Gaga does write all her own original material, it is not unexpected of Artists wanting to have big hits, will turn to songwritiers who have years of experience as to help them pen the killer tune.

So I would not be shocked to a point of worrying for my health if these allegations are indeed true, dissapointed maybe but I won't lose sleep over it, if anything it might help cement my opinion on pop musicians nowadays.

But, if this is indeed true, surely Mr. Fusari could have come forward earlier. It does seem to me that he really has been biding his time about this. Either he just wants to try and get Mrs. Gaga for all she's got but it really personifies the greed related to this industry.

To be fair though, the fact that they were romantically invovled is asking for trouble when you enter into a business where it is pretty cut-throat in order to make it. A misunderstanding in a relationship will definately leave a sour ex wanting to get revenge on their former lover, what better way than a law suit.

Oh love, what a beautiful thing. Sounds like a Bad Romance.

Personally I think it's low of him to come forward now and I hope that he loses the case and has to pay some form of damages to Lady G. and that it damages his reputation as a prodcuer.

If the outcome is in favour of Mr. Fusari, then maybe it will teach Gagameister a little bit about making good relationship decisions.
